Tension rods as dividers

Storing baking sheets, cutting boards, and sturdy platters upright on kitchen shelves frees space and keeps you from having to lift a heavy stack when you need only one item. Create dividers for them using tension curtain rods. Buy rods to fit the space, and position pairs of them at intervals. Twist to tighten.

cupcake liner as ice cream bowl

Use Cupcake Liner as Ice Cream Bowl from Real Simple – This will make serving ice cream at birthday parties so much easier.  They will be all set to go, all I have to do is pull them out of the freezer!

plastic cereal dispenser for trash in car

Keep Your Car Tidy, Too

Convert a plastic cereal dispenser into a trash receptacle for your car. You can get one at the DOLLAR STORE!

Fill a couple of ice cube trays with coffee.  Then freeze.  This is so important for full flavored iced coffee and not some watered down half baked attempt!

Leave the rest of the pot of coffee on counter to cool then store in fridge.

Use the Space Between Joists from Family Handy Man – this opens up a whole new world of storage!
